PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new material for an ornament which is equipped with both of an ornamental function and a health improving or medical treatment, healing function, and is suitable as a constituent material for the ornament. SOLUTION: (1) This material for the ornament is made of gold, silver, platinum or their alloy, and is irradiated with a wave energy. (2) The material for the ornament is made of pure germanium, titanium or brass, and the pure germanium, titanium or brass is irradiated with the wave energy. (3) The material for the ornament includes germanium, titanium or brass, and the remaining section mainly comprises gold, silver or platinum, or their alloy, and the noble metal including germanium, titanium or brass is irradiated with the wave energy.
