PURPOSE:To improve reliability of a control console device by omitting the group switch for equipment selection lamps set on the console to secure a space on the console and making use of this space to duplicate each part of the console. CONSTITUTION:An operator turns on a next switch 9a, for the next equipment and a return switch 9b for the preceding equipment respectively in a switch group 9 for change of equipment selection display of a system A for an equipment to be controlled. Here the operator keeps said operations until the name of the equipment to be controlled is displayed on an equipment selection display device 8 of the system A. Then a controller 4 outputs the equipment name display data 4b to the equipment 8 via an input/output cable 5 with execution of a console control program 4a. A system B having the same function as the system A is provided on a console 1 and therefore the system can substitute the system A in the case system A has a trouble.
