PURPOSE:To improve oxidation resistance by giving a radius R of a specified dimension or a chamfer to an arris while coating the surface with a fluorinated polyamide-imide resin. CONSTITUTION:When an oxidation-resistant film is applied 0.2-2.0mm R working or chamfering is conducted to an arris section, a magnet material is degreased and washed by a trichlene liquid or the like, the magnet material is dipped in an organic solution into which a fluorinated polyamide-imide resin is dissolved, or the surface of the magnet material is coated with the organic solution by spray or the like, and the magnet material is heated at a temperature of 150-250 deg.C. Consequently, a fluorinated polyamide-imide film having excellent oxidation resistance is formed on the whole surface of the permanent magnet material. Accordingly, R working or chamfering is performed, and the fluorinated polyamide-imide resin having superior oxidation resistance is applied, thus preventing the deterioration of magnet characteristics, then acquiring the permanent magnet having excellent oxidation resistance.
