Method for manufacturing hoses for transporting fluids, applicable in particular to the engines of motor vehicles. It results from the extension of a synthetic material loaded with reinforcing micro fibres, which are preferably batched, and which are oriented during this operation, giving rise to a preform 1 which, before polymerisation, is subjected to a radial deformation, creating a sequence of folds 2 which are circular and concentric with the axis of the hose in the zones 4 of the preform 1 which are intended to be curved, this deformation being obtained by means of an inner blowing of the preform 1 or the application of an external partial vacuum thereto in a mould 13, whose surface comprises the outer profile of the ringed turns 2. <IMAGE>
