PURPOSE:To attain the automatic loading/reproduction/automatic recovery for two kinds of adopting a constitution that the position to pen a disk clamper is changed over in response to the diameter of the disk. CONSTITUTION:In loading or recover a small sized disk 36, a case detection section 44c is not pushed backward by the case 35 of a disk unit 30 but placed at the forwarded position. Since the press contact part 44d of a case detection bar 44 moves a lock relay lever 47 to a position moved clockwise against the spring 53, a lock bar 49 is placed at the lock position, and the elevation of the small sized diameter clamp bar cam 15 to the non-acting position from the acting position is inhibited by the lock bar 49 and a small diameter clamper cam 15 is locked to the operating position. Thus, the roller 60 of a lower clamper 58 of the catcher unit C passes under the cam 15, then the roller 60 is pushed downward, the lower clamper 58 is opened, the disk 36 is released at the position or recovered.
