<p>PURPOSE:To supply an air of which the drying degree is made stable by enhancing the supply capacity of dry compressed air by preventing the rising in the temp. of an adsorbent while preventing the scaling-up of an apparatus, by also using a freezer used in the cooling and dehumidification of high temp. compressed air in the cooling of the adsorbent in an adsorbing tower. CONSTITUTION:Cooling medium evaporation pipes 10, 11 are provided in the adsorbent beds 8 of adsorbing towers A, B and met to form the cooling medium evaporation pipe 3a of a cooling dehumidifier 3 and said evaporation pipe 3a is connected to a cooling medium compressor 12 and a cooling medium condenser 13 to form a freezing cycle. The high temp. compressed air from an air compressor 1 is heat-exchanged with low temp. dry compressed air in a precooler 2 and subsequently cooled and dehumidified by a cooling medium in the cooling dehumidifier 3 to be adjusted to a low dew point before guided to the adsorbing tower A having entered a drying process through a change-over valve 4 to be adsorbed and dehumidified. The adsorbent absorbs moisture to generate heat but is cooled by the cooling medium evaporation pipe 10 and the adsorbing capacity thereof is held to a high level. A part of the dry compressed air supplied from the adsorbing tower A is sent to the adsorbing tower B as regeneration air and the remainder is supplied to an air machinery through the precooler 2.</p> |
