PURPOSE:To improve riding comfortability by providing an engine support of a vehicle with a fiber reinforced plastic member having resilience and disposed along the lower portion of an engine compartment and supporting an engine through engine mounts and a shock absorber. CONSTITUTION:Low frequency vibration generated during idling or driving is absorbed through resilience of engine mount rubbers 16 and a fiber reinforced plastic member 11 to be reduced. Impact force generated by excessive displacement of an engine at starting or abrupt acceleration is absorbed by a combination of the fiber reinforced plastic member and a shock absorber 17. Thus constructed, riding comfortability can be improved, and the structure can be simplied. |
