PURPOSE:To separate an input device from a copying device and to shorten input operation time by displaying and storing selected edition area information and forming a copying image based on the stored information. CONSTITUTION:A loading/unloading port for an IC card 116 is formed on an editor 122 and edition information, an operation message or the like is displayed on a liquid crystal display 132 and stored in the card 116. In this case, an output based upon a cursor key 128 and an input pen 130 is inputted to an MPU 142. The MPU 142 controls the driving of a tablet circuit 126, inputs the coordinate data of a pen 130 and compares the input data with coordinate data stored in a ROM 144 to decide an edition mode. In a trimming mode, only an image part corresponding to a specified area 154 is left and the other image is erased, and in a masking mode, only the image part corresponding to a specified area 156 is erased and the other image is left. Consequently, a required copy image can be formed. |
