Selector for channel transmission type and TV receiver

The selector covers several transmission standards. A reception channel memory allocates to each channel of each standard a data group with associated tuning and operational adjustment data. For each data group a selectable memory cell is provided. If clock pulses are applied to a first clock input of the channel selector, the latter selects the channel according to a preset diagram in which the channel is searched in the transmission norm last in use and then switches over to the next norm if found data do not agree. If clock pulses are applied to a second clock input, the channel selector selects sequentially only the memory cells of the data groups belonging to the (transmission standard last in use.
