PURPOSE:To fix an overload protective apparatus easily and stably, by inserting the overload protective apparatus into a groove provided at the outside circumference of a stator core and by holding it with a flange. CONSTITUTION:An end bracket 5 supports a rotor of a motor in the manner it can freely rotate. A flange 5a is attached to the end bracket 5 to fix it. A groove 10 is formed on the outside circumference of a stator core 4a where this flange 5a is situated. An overload protective apparatus 7 is inserted into this groove 10 so that the end bracket 5 can be fixed with the flange 5a and at the same time the overload protective apparatus 7 can be fixed on the inside of the groove 10.
