发明名称 THICKNESS COMPENSATION METHOD FOR BITED END PART OF ROLLED STOCK
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To compensate the thickness of a bited end part of a rolled stock by measuring a rolling load deviation between the bited end part and the central part of the rolled stock at the preceding path and correcting a roll opening at the succeeding path based on the measured deviation. CONSTITUTION: A signal from a load cell 1 for measurement of a rolling load at a rolling mill 2 is inputted to a process computer (P/C) 6, which finds a rolling load deviation between the bited end part and the central part of a rolled stock at the preceding path. A setting of rolling roll opening is changed by prediction of a thickness variation of the bited end part to be generated at the succeeding path based on the measured deviation and in addition, if necessary, the information on rolling conditions from a host computer 5. A roll opening changing amount for the bited end part at the succeeding path is inputted to an AGC control panel 7 to control a hydraulic cylinder 3 so as to change an opening set value of rolling rolls 4.</p>
