PURPOSE:To make a spindle in small size and light weight by forming the periphery of a crank shaft with a diameter greater than the periphery of spindle, cutting off this excessive portion, and thereby forming the crank shaft outer diagram and the periphery of spindle on the same plane. CONSTITUTION:Part of a crank shaft 1 is formed in a dimension greater than the periphery of a spindle 2 within the range of angle theta formed between directions of the resultant force W made from the centrifugal force F applied to the crank shaft 1 and the torque of revolution T. This excessive part 8 is cut off, and the periphery of the crank shaft 1 and that of the spindle 2 are so formed as located on the same plane. If this spindle 2 is borne by a bearing 6 in the direction of the resultant force W of the centrifugal force F applied to the crank shaft 1 and the torque T of revolution, there will be no obstacle even though an eventual gap is generated between said bearing 6 and the periphery of crank shaft 1 in the range of angle 0-theta. Therefore, the crank shaft 1 can be given a large diameter, while the spindle 2 made in small size and light weight. There is no hinder either for fitting and removal of the bearing 6. |
