SUPERVISORY SYSTEM FOR COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PURPOSE:To collect a supervisory data from each peripheral station without collision of a supervisory response signal returned from the peripheral station by giving the designation of a slot returning the supervisory reply signal from the central station to the peripheral station so as to send the supervisory response request signal. CONSTITUTION:The central station has a means 5 sending the supervisory response request signal inhibiting the designation of a time slot through which a peripheral station sends the supervisory reply signal and the transmission of data to the time slot by other peripheral station in the broadcast mode. The peripheral station station has a means 22 sending a supervisory reply signal to a designated time slot in response to the supervisory reply request signal addressed to its own station. The time slot is designated exclusively for the supervisory reply signal and received surely by the central station without data collision. Thus, the central station supervises the peripheral stations centralizingly.
