PURPOSE:To obtain a resin compsn. having excellent high-temperature dimensional stability, moldability and resistance to heat, impact and org. solvents, by blending a resin consisting of a polyphenylene ether resin, a polyamide resin and an arom. alkenyl compd/conjugated diene copolymer with a specified compd. and an inorg. filler. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. resin consisting of 20-60wt% polyphenylene ether (A) having a repeating unit of the formula (wherein Q is a member selected from the group consisting of H, halogen, a hydrocarbon group contg. no tert. alpha-carbon atom, etc.), 25-65wt% polyamide resin (B) (e.g., nylon 6) and 3-35wt% copolymer (C) obtd. by random-, graft- or block-copolymerizing an arom. alkenyl compd. (a) (e.g., styrene) with a conjugated diene (b), is blended with 0.01-10pts. wt. compd. (D) having an unsaturated group as well as a polar group [e.g., maleic acid (anhydride)] and 3-50pts.wt. filler (E) selected from the group consisting of inorg. matters mainly composed of calcium silicate and/or glass fiber such as chopped strand having an average diameter of <=15mu and a length of 1-8mm. |
