PURPOSE:To provide a long-acting composition for protecting fruit trees such as white birch, mountain ash, plum, orange, etc., by using a reaction product of 3,6-dichloropyridazine with Laruven, tobacco base and dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid as active components and adding a carrier thereto. CONSTITUTION:A reaction product of 3,6-dichloropyridazine and Laruven [a reaction product produced by reacting 3,6-dichloropyridazine with Laruven(R) (a phenolic compound having CH3 and Cl on benzene nucleus) in an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide] is used together with a tobacco base (a mixture containing nicotine, nicotiamine, nicotiyne and nicotelline as main components) and dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid preferably at weight ratios of 1:(1-3):(3-8) as active components. The objective composition for protecting fruit trees contains the above active components and a carrier (e.g. 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate resin, isopropyl alcohol, etc.) for the above active components. |
