PURPOSE:To simply and inexpensively inspect the color array of an object to be inspected by radiating plural light beams having respectively different wavelength components in belt-shaped state on respectively different positions corresponding to respective light beams on a color array part to be inspected of the object to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:In the color array inspecting device capable of inspecting a color array especially simply and inexpensively, plural light beams having respectively different wavelength components are radiated in belt-shaped state from light sources on respectively different positions corresponding to respective light beams and the whole irradiation part radiated by the light sources is photographed by a black-and-white video camera 4 as one picture. The obtained image signal is processed by a decision processing means 5 and the distribution of illuminance the whole irradiation part of the object to be inspected is measured to decide the color array of the object to be inspected.
