PURPOSE:To achieve a sanitary urine inspection accurately and quickly, by conveying test paper pieces to a urine sampling means one at a time through a compressed air pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a measuring switch 4b is turned ON, a test piece 51 is sent out. The test piece 51 is adsorbed by a suction chamber 61, which places the test piece 51 on a guide rail 71. A pusher 73 transfers the test piece 51 to be loaded into a test paper piece conveying pipe 41. Then, a compressor 48c of a compressed air supply mechanism 48 is operated to feed a compressed air into the pipe 41 through a tube 47. Thus, the test piece 51 is forced through the pipe 41 to be conveyed to the tip of a urine sampling means 2. Under such a condition, a test paper surface of the test piece 51 is positioned at a place corresponding to a light receiving/emitting section of an inspection means 3. The means 3 checks a reflected light to detect urine sugar value or the like depending on the quantity of coloring reaction light and the results are shown on a display section 4c.
