<p>PURPOSE:To open a device without misoperation in a one-touch manner when a paper jam happens, and take action in the required jam handling at once, by attaching a conveying part to the device free of rotation, and energizing this conveying part to the closed side by a resilient device so as to cause a part of the conveying part to come into contact with an upper unit all the time. CONSTITUTION:A conveying part 22 is installed in the front of a paper refeeding part 12 free of opening or closing with the lower end pivotally attached by a pin 23, and this conveying part 22 is always energized to the closed side by a tension spring 24 installed between the conveying part and the paper refeeding part 12, making the roller part 22a installed in the upper end come into contact with a rail surface 1c of a recording part 1. Then, when a jam of recording paper 11 occurs in this recorder, if an upper unit 1a is lifted up and opened, a conveying passage 9 is exposed in sight so that the jammed paper is easily removable. And, the conveying part 22 is pushed and opened wide in the wake of rotation of the upper unit 1a, whereby the recorder is easily opened by only rotational operation of the unit 1a in a one-touch manner, thus the desired jam handling is performable.</p> |
