PURPOSE:To suppress the infiltration of noise by providing an electronic circuit comprising a reproducing amplifier close to each magnetic head in one and same carriage so as to decrease the length of a conductor thereby reducing a length with a minute voltage propagated therethrough. CONSTITUTION:The reproducing amplifier 12 is mounted on a head carriage 15 and arranged near the magnetic head 11. With plural heads provided, each head is provided with a reproducing amplifier 12. In providing the plural reproducing amplifiers 12 in this way, a reproducing amplifier selector circuit 17 selecting each reproducing amplifier 12 is provided to a main circuit 16. Since the length of the conductor between the reproducing amplifier 13 and the magnetic head 11 is decreased, the invasion of noise is suppressed. Since the reproducing amplifier 12 is constituted by an integrated circuit, the amplifier is formed with a very small size and mounted on the head carriage 15 near the head 11.
