PURPOSE:To prevent the pollution of water by a method in which sediment soil under the water surface is fluidized by jetting water from a water jet tube with a soil suction tube penetrated into the sediment soil and carried to a given place by the suction tube. CONSTITUTION:The lower end of a concentrically double soil suction tub 1 having a compressed air flow path 2 and jet nozzles 4 set at equal intervals in the circumferential direction is inserted into sediment soil A under the water surface and further penetrated to a given depth by vertically vibrating the tube 1 by a vibrator 5. Under the condition, compressed air is jetted and jet water (a) from the nozzle 4a is intermittently jetted and they are sucked up by the tube 1. When the jetting region of the water (a) and the air (b) is widened, the soil A is crushed and at the same time fluidized by jet water stream. The fluidized soil A is continuously sucked up by the tube 1 and transported to a suction tank 6. Water treatment and solidifying treatment of the soil after recovery can thus be simplified.
