PURPOSE:To execute a blackboard copying operation by an electronic blackboard mode and a usual copying operation by a copying machine mode, by one copying devices, by constituting the titled device so that an original placing table is moved to a position for opening an optical path from on a sheet, at the time of copying of a blackboard. CONSTITUTION:By inputting a copy start key, a board part 1 sends an operation start signal to a copying machine 2, and simultaneously, executes a lighting check of a sheet lighting lamp. Subsequently, the copying machine 2 receives the operation start signal from the board 1, and executes a lighting check in the same way, and in case of OK, an original placing table 20 is moved in order to open an optical path from the board 1 and feed of transfer paper 23 is started. Next, the board part 1 rotates a sheet driving motor 12 by a feed paper signal, and sends a processing start signal to the copying machine 2 and moves a sheet 7, at the time point when the tip of a screen to be copied has moved to a read position. The copying machine 2 executes usual copying by the processing start signal. On the other hand, at the time of copying in a copying machine mode, when a copy switch 21 of the copying machine 2 is inputted in a standby state, the original placing table 20 returns to a position for closing an optical path from on the sheet 7, and copying of the board part 1 is inhibited.
