The invention relates to combustion engines in their mechanical and thermal operational mode and covers all their uses. The combustion engine has been broken down into rationally designed essential elements. Compressed air arrives through the flange 2. The slotted disc 1 revolves. Via the duct 7 the air fills the combustion module 3 which is not cooled, but, to the contrary, by virtue of the serpentine coil which surrounds the combustion chamber, supplies steam which via 8 supercompresses the air trapped in this module. After blocking of the module 1, the fuel is vaporised and burns instantaneously, then the slot 9 releases these high-pressure gases which may form a reaction or drive a turbine or motor with two rotors which provides four explosions per revolution as would an eight-cylinder four-stroke engine. <IMAGE>
