PURPOSE:To process a graphic form dynamically and at high speed regardless of each segment unit by providing instructions 'name set' and 'filter' for control of attributes. CONSTITUTION:A valid name presence/absence deciding means 4 secures AND between the current name set outputted from a current name set updating means 3 and each bit of a valid filter converted into bit expression by a name number converting means 1 and then secures OR between bits to decide the presence or absence of a name designated by the valid filter in a current name set. An invalid name presence/absence deciding means 5 secures AND between the current name set outputted from the means 3 and each bit of an invalid filter converted into 1-bit expression by the means 1 and then secures OR between bits to decide the presence or absence of a name designated by the invalid filter in the current name set. A validity deciding means 6 secures AND between the inverted outputs of means 4 and 5 to decide the validity of attributes.
