The present invention relates to a gas appliance with burner. The injector 6 and the body 1a of the valve (tap) 1 are separated by an intermediate sleeve 5 which has an expanded surface 5b for heat exchange, by means of which sleeve the heat flux coming from the burner 8 is slowed down in the region of the injector. This enhances the removal of the liquid phase at the outlet of the burner. The invention applies to all cooking appliances, lighting appliances having an incandescent mantle or appliances working with a flame (welding, brazing, etc.). <IMAGE>
