<p>PURPOSE:To perform efficient communication between an interrogator and a responsor by allowing the responsor mounted on a car to receives a question signal from the interrogator and sends out a response signal. CONSTITUTION:Interrogators Q-n-Q-1 and Q1-Qn are arranged at prescribed intervals in, for example, the center separation zone of a road which has an up and a down lane and a question signal regarding the car is sent by radio within a prescribed range. Then the responsors A1-A3 mounted on the car sends response signals when receiving question signals addressed to them. Then a recognition controller C sends question signals such as recognition codes and message information at different times to areas on the both sides from all interrogators Q-n-Q-1, and Q1-Qn. For example, a car T1 receives it by the responsor A1 mounted thereon and sends back a response signal including the recognition code specified for it. The sent-back response signal is received by, for example, the interrogator Q0 and sent out to a discrimination controller C. The discrimination controller C recognizes the interrogator Q0 receiving the response signal and sends out the current position signal of the car.</p> |
