PURPOSE:To reduce the treating time of the titled phthalocyanine by treating a alpha type metal free phthalocyanine by means of an automatic mortar. CONSTITUTION:The alpha type metal free phthalocyanine is dislocated slowly to the X type metal free phthalocyanine by charging 0.5g the alpha type metal free phthalocyanine in the automatic mortar, followed by kneading it continuously for 4hr. The X ray diffraction pattern of the metal free phthalocyanine changes according to the treating time, and finally, the patterns having peaks at 17.3 deg. and 22.3 deg. which are the characteristics of the X type metal free phthalocyanine are obtd., thereby showing the dislocation of the X type metal free phthalocyanine. The obtd. X type metal free phthalocyanine is washed with dimethylformamide, and then methanol, followed by drying it to obtain the X type metal free phthalocyanine powder. Thus, the X type metal free phthalocyanine is obtd. by treating it for short period. |
