The programmer consists of a drum (2) carrying the program cam discs (1) and supported between the front plate (3) and the drive motor (4) inside the drum, of the program preselector disc (5) and a set of contacts (6). The disc can be preset by turning a knob (7) fixed on a cylindrical sleeve extension (8). The stube shaft (9) of the drum (2) passes through this sleeve and carries an indicator knob (10) for the position of the program cam discs. The preselector disc (5) cooperates with a detent lever (11) which is springloaded and drops into detent notches on the periphery of the disc (5) corrspg. to the starting points of a program.
