PURPOSE:To enable welding finish of a butt joint of floor materials of cigarette resistance completely by simple means, by applying a heat-active type adhesive agent on a V cut groove surface including a crosslinking and heat-resistant surface layer part. CONSTITUTION:After V cut of a butt joint part of cigarette-resistant floor materials A, A', whose surface layer 1 is of a crosslinking and heat-resistant synthetic resin layer, has been performed up to the crosslinking heat-resistant synthetic resin layer 1, its lower intermediate layer 2 and/or a part of a backing layer 3, a heat-active adhesive agent layer 7 is provided on a V cut groove part 5. Then the V cut groove part 5 is finished through welding by filling the same with a welding rod 6 made of a similar synthetic resin to the floor material. A material which is solid and displays excellent adhesion to the crosslinking surface layer 1, intermediate layer 2 and/or the backing layer 3 at the normal temperature, and melts at a certain predetermined temperature and possesses excellent compatibility or affinity with the welding rod 6 made of the same kind of synthetic resin as the intermediate layer 2 and/or the backup lay 3 is suitable for the heat-active adhesive agent layer 7 to be used here. The crosslinked surface layer part of a welded joint welded in this manner is stuck sufficiently, the same does not change at all even if stepping-on stress at the time of walking is applied to the same, and sufficient watertight properties can be held. |
