PURPOSE:To store the charge result even when the battery is detached from a device body in case of charging and is completely charged, by providing the battery with a storage means where the power state is stored. CONSTITUTION:When the battery voltage of a secondary battery 1 is reduced to a reference voltage while a copying machine 7 is operated, a microcomputer in the machine body of the copying machine 7 stops the operation of the copying machine and sends data indicating the stop to a memory 2 through a bus 5. This data is reset when a battery unit 6 is connected to a charger 8 and a signal indicating the charge completion is inputted through a signal line 9. However, data is held by the voltage of the secondary battery because the memory 2 is provided in the battery unit 6 even when the battery is discon nected from the copying machine body 7 and the charger 8. Thus, the charge result is stored even in the copying machine where the battery is detached from the machine body and is charged. |
