PURPOSE:To easily regulate a servo system by applying a known test signal to position control means when a load inertia is unknown, and monitoring the output of a position controller at this time to regulate the set inertia value. CONSTITUTION:A DC motor system has a motor section 100, its driving circuit 200, an encoder section 300 having an encoder 3001 and its interface 3002, a speed controller 400, a position controller 500 and a tuning section 600 for regulating servo systems of both the controllers. Thus, when the load inertia J of the motor is unknown, a known test signal from test signal generating means is applied to position control means, and the signal output from the controller 500 is monitored by a monitoring output terminal. The set value of the inertia is so regulated by an inertia setting switch as to eliminate the distortion of the monitored waveform. |
