PURPOSE:To attain error detection in matching with a transmission object by setting a header part and a data part or only the header part as an error check object. CONSTITUTION:A 1st error detection means 100 uses a 1st error detection code part FCSO of a received data block DB to check the error in the header part H and a 2nd error detection means 200 uses a 2nd error check code FCS1 of the received data block DB to check the error in the data part D. A range decision means 300 uses the error detection range display part C of the received data block DB so as to decide whether only the result of check of the 1st error detection means 100 is adopted or the result of check of the 1st and 2nd error check means 100, 200 is adopted.
