To make the use of an electronic listening device with microprocessor circuit as undisturbing as possible to the user, the electronic listening device (10) according to the invention is divided into a first constructional unit (11) and a second constructional unit (12) connected to the first constructional unit via an optical fibre line. The first constructional unit contains the microprocessor circuit (23), an amplifier (24) connected thereto, an electrooptical transducer (25) connected to the amplifier, and a separate power source (27). The second constructional unit (12) comprises an optoelectrical transducer (31), a digital/analog converter (32) and an electroacoustic transducer (33) to be worn behind the ear, in the ear or in the auditory canal, and also a separate power source (34). The first constructional unit exhibits connections (15, 16) for connecting analog or digital signal sources which include, among others, a computer (20) which programs the microprocessor circuit (23). <IMAGE> |
