PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having excellent heat-resistance, thermal stability, low-temperature impact strength and surface appearance of colored molded article, by compounding a specific rubber-modified aromatic vinyl compound to a base polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) 5-95wt.% polyphenylene ether, (B) 95-5% rubber-modified aromatic vinyl compound produced by polymerizing an aromatic vinyl compound and, if necessary, other vinyl monomers copolymerizable therewith in the presence of a rubbery polymer produced by mixing (B1) 10-90% copolymer composed of 30-90% alkyl (meth) acrylate and 70-10% conjugated diene and (B2) 90-10% conjugated diene polymer other than the above copolymer and (C) 0-90% aromatic vinyl compound.
