PURPOSE:To provide a termite-controlling agent containing 3-phenoxy-alpha- cyanobenzyl 2-(2-chloro-4-trifluoromethylphenylamino)-3-methylbutanoate and piperonyl butoxide as an adjuvant. CONSTITUTION:The objective termite-controlling agent contains (A) the compound of formula and (B) [3,4-(methylenedioxy)-6-propylbenzyl]butyl diethylene glycol ether at a ratio of 1:1-10. The compound of formula is an expensive chemical and its amount can be decreased keeping high insecticidal and moth- proofing effect by mixing with the above synergist to enable the reduction of cost. The above termite-controlling agent may be properly compounded with a termite-attractant, other insecticide, preservative, etc., to further improve the controlling effect. It can be used in the form of oil solution, emulsifiable concentrate, wettable powder, powder, aerosol, etc. |
