PURPOSE:To enable operational power, which can be output within the essential restriction of a machine, to be displayed to the maximum limit, by providing a limiting circuit for a rate of change in an output so that a gas turbine holds the rate of change in its inlet temperature to a specified value or less. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a gas turbine having a compressor 1, combustor 2 and a turbine 3 as the principal equipments, an output 7 of a generator 4 generates a deviation from a value, obtained from an output request value 8 through a change rate limiter 10, and a fuel regulating valve 5 is controlled through a valve driving gear 14 by a control signal which is obtained being calculated in an arithmetic unit 12 so that this deviation decreases to 0. Here the gas turbine obtains in a subtractor 17 a deviation of the temperature change rate, obtained by differentiating an output of a turbine inlet temperature detector 9 by a differentiator 16, from a temperature change rate limit preset value 18. And the gas turbine, so that the above deviation decreases to 0, is constituted collating a control signal, obtained being calculated in an arithmetic unit 19, with the control signal from an arithmetic unit 12 in a low value selecting circuit 20 and selecting either of the signals of lower value so as to be output to the valve driving gear 14.
