PURPOSE:To enable eliminating resonance in another structure and removing unpleasant resonance noise by providing mounting brackets or mounting flanges having coinciding clamp faces and attaching screws on a central extension in the rotor shaft thrust direction of a stepping motor. CONSTITUTION:A fixing method for mounting a stepping motor 1 in another structure 4 is constituted by provision of mounting brackets A5 and B6 having coinciding clamp faces 11 and attaching screws on a central extension in the rotor shaft thrust direction of said stepping motor 1. Said mounting brackets A5 and B6 are formed so that the error quantity 12 of the rotor shaft center 10 and clamp face 11 is within the maximum error range 14, one fourth of a rotor shaft rectangular direction width dimension 13. The stepping motor 1 is mounted and fixed in another structure 4 by said mounting brackets A5 and B6.
