PURPOSE:To reduce cost and size of an indicator, by reducing the number of elements for indicating the opening of an ink regulation board in % approximately by half and setting such that different elements are lighted for even and odd number of % opening respectively, thereby reducing the number of selective driving circuit elements. CONSTITUTION:Opening of an ink regulation board is indicated in % with M% accuracy, and {(100/2M)+1} indication elements are arranged. When the opening is indicated with up to an accuracy of 1%, 51 indication elements are arranged. When the opening to be indicated has odd number of %, {(N+1)/2th} and {(N+3)/2th} indication elements are selected and lighted, while when it has even number of %, {(N2+1)th} indication element is selected and indicated. When the opening is 0%, an indication element 4011 in a row corresponding to an ink regulation board K1 is lighted while when the opening is 1%, indication elements 4021, 4022 in a row corresponding to an ink regulation board K2 are lighted. Similarly, an indication element 40mn is lighted when the opening is 100%. |
