PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting material remarkably improved in critical electric current, by preparing the superconducting material while applying magnetic field from the outside to a material for forming the superconducting material. CONSTITUTION:When the aimed superconducting material is formed, the material is prepared while applying magnetic field from the outside to a material for forming the superconducting material. According to the preparation method, starting temperature of superconductivity can be raised to 50-107K and critical current density thereof is also improved from a conventional 10<2>A/cm<2> order to 10<5>-10<6>A/cm<2> and the material can be obtained from c axis face (a b face) of the crystal. The used representative material for forming superconducting material is an oxide of the periodic table element of IIIa group and IIa group and copper, especially preferably ceramic having modified pervskite structure. When a material using such element is calcined to oxidize the material, current induced by a magnetic field is organically connected with antimagnetic characteristic having the superconducting material and synergistic effect is given by applying preferably 500-100,000 gauss magnetic field to the solid material.
