PURPOSE:To provide the transparency to the light and the conductivity by providing a transparent conductor composed with a translucent ceramic material having a general formula of the specific composition indicating a superconducting phenomenon at the crititical temperature of 77K or higher and a transparent material to the light. CONSTITUTION:A translucent ceramic material 2 having the composition of a general formula AaBbCc ((a), (b), (c) are numbers indicating the composition ratios of A, B, C) indicating a superconducting phenomenon at the critical temperature of 77K or higher and a transparent material 1 to the light are composed into a transparent conductor, where A is one type selected from a group of Ia, IIa, IIIa group elements in the periodic table, B is one type selected from a group of Ib, IIb, IIIb in the periodic table, C is one type selected from a group of O, C, N, F, S, and an equation (a)X(average valence of A)+ (b)X(average valence of B)=(c)X(average valence of C) is satisfied. Accordingly, the portion indicating a superconducting phenomenon can feed a current with its translucency maintained and without generating Joule's heat.
