<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the time required in setting a fast rising state and to put low temp. methane fermentation to practical use, by using low temp. bacteria sampled from the natural world. CONSTITUTION:The medium temp. methane fermentation digested sludge ob tained by preliminarily performing medium temp. methane fermentation using sewage sludge is received in the first tank 1 as a seed strain and held at 25-30 deg.C. The low temp. bacteria containing low temp. methane bacteria sampled from the natural world are received in the second tank 2 to be held at 15-25 deg.C. The squeezed liquid of pig excrements is charged into the first tank 1 and subsequently allowed to flow in the second tank 2. The digested sludge flowing out from the second tank 2 is stored into a sludge storage tank 3 and allowed to stand to be conc. A part of the conc. digested sludge is returned to the first tank 1 by a sludge return pump 4 and the substrate in the tank 1 is hydrolyzed. By this method, methane fermentation can be performed in a carefully scheduled process.</p> |
