PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in characteristics by heat and to improve yield by using a silica sol as an adhesive agent for adhering constituting members of a magnetic head, more particularly, sticking of a substrate formed with a thin soft magnetic film pattern and protective plate. CONSTITUTION:The silica sol (colloidal soln. of high mol.wt. silicic acid anhydride) is used as the adhesive agent at the time of sticking the substrate 1 formed with the thin soft magnetic film pattern 3 and the protective plate 4. This silica sol serves as the good adhesive agent when subjected to a heating treatment, as the colloid particles adhere securely to the recesses of the joint surfaces and the particles create the secure bond by forming siloxane bonds with each other. The coefft. of thermal expansion is approximated to the coefft. of thermal expansion of the constituting members 3 of the magnetic head and the temp. for the heating treatment can be set below the temp. at which the characteristics of the thin soft magnetic film pattern are deteriorated. The deterioration in the magnetic characteristics of the thin soft magnetic film pattern is thereby obviated. |
