摘要 PURPOSE:To hold liquid droplet forming frequency equivalently at room temperature even under a low temperature environment and to obtain high printing quality and recording velocity by shortening the falling time of a voltage pulse to be applied to an electromechanical converter shorter than that at an ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION:When an image signal is input and an input terminal 10 show an H level, a base current flows through a resistor 13 to the base of a transistor 14 when a transistor 12 is turned ON, the transistor 14 is turned ON, and a voltage drop due to the emitter current of the transistor 14 occurs at a resistor 19. The voltage of the resistor 19 is applied through a resistor 16 to a piezoelectric element 17 as a driving voltage. Accordingly, when the resistor 19 is selected by a changeover switch 18, the driving voltage of 25 deg.C driving voltage characteristic is applied to the element 17, while when a resistor 20 is selected, the driving voltage of 5 deg.C driving voltage characteristic of short falling time is applied to the element 17.
