<p>It is known to vary the effective area of a table surface. However in many cases, the base of the table is of fixed shape and is therefore inadequate to support the extended table top. Described herein is a table having a top made of a number of hinged sections (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) which can be folded out to form a table top, the top being mounted on a base which can be extended to support the table top in its extended position.</p> |
