PURPOSE:To print a necessary part only and to eliminate the waste of paper and printing time by partly printing the stored image, while a storing means is coupled to a picture communicating means. CONSTITUTION:Programs, etc., are stored in a ROM 8, and on the other hand, a RAM 9 is provided with a VRAM area for a display 6 and an image memory (IMEM) area for a printer 7. An MPU 4 reads the image information of a file having an identification code from a disc 3 and displays it on an image display 6 by developing to VRAM in the RAM 9. Simultaneously with the development to the VRAM the picture information is developed even to the IMEM area in the RAM 9 as an image for printing. An operator instructs a desired scope to be printed after watching the displayed image. Thus, a truly necessary part can be designated and the part only can be printed.
