PURPOSE:To instantaneously detect the rupture of a diaphragm, by interposing a detection means detecting the optical change generated by the mixing of a coating agent with an operating fluid to detect the rupture of the diaphragm in the flow passage of the operating fluid. CONSTITUTION:The coating agent supplied to the single surface side of a diaphragm partitioning each of pumps 1A, 1B is forced out by the pressure of the operating fluid recirculated and supplied to the other surface side of the diaphragm 3 to be quantitatively supplied to a coating machine 2. A detection means S detecting the chemical change generated by the mixing of the coating agent with the operating fluid to detect the rupture of the diaphragm is interposed in the flow passage of the aforementioned operating fluid. As a result, the rupture of the diaphragm can be instantaneously detected and the damage due to painting inferiority can be suppressed to the min.
