PURPOSE:To achieve improvement of paper feed accuracy by enabling regular and reverse rotation to be executed even though paper feed system is fixed, by using a manual clutch with which a power transmission system can be disconnected during manual paper feed. CONSTITUTION:During manual operation, a paper feed system is fixed and a gear 12 and a rubber roller gear 14 are not rotated. When a handle 18 is counterclockwise rotated (a) in that case, tension is generated in a belt 17 to overcome a pressing force of a spring 19. Then, the gear 12 is moved right and its engagement with the rubber roller gear 14 is released. Further the handle 18 is rotated, a pulley on the rubber roller side is rotated with a belt 17, and paper is conveyed by rotation of a rubber roller 9. When the handle 18 is rotated clockwise (b), the gear 12 becomes separable from the gear 14 by tension of the belt in the same way as when rotated counterclockwise with a tension roller 20 and a hinge 21. |
