PURPOSE:To form the titled bar-shaped electrodeposited stud with the excellent welding performance and satisfactory workability by providing the concave deposited end face covered by a flux layer to the bar-shaped electrodeposited stud. CONSTITUTION:A screw part 46 is provided on the head and the concave deposited end face 47 covered by the flux layer is provided to the lower part to constitute the bar-shaped electrodeposited stud 45. This bar-shaped electrodeposited stud 45 is pressed against a plate 59 to be welded and the stud 45 is pulled up upward by a prescribed interval in an electrified state and an arc 60 is generated between the stud 45 and the plate 59. When this state is continued for a prescribed time, both are molten to form a molten pool 61 and when the stud 45 is pressed upon the plate 59, the stud 45 and the plate 59 are completely welded together at a weld zone 62. By this method, the welding is performed extremely easily without using an auxiliary member.
