PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the efficiency of a unit debug by automating a job rewriting an SVC instruction in a program into derail instruction. CONSTITUTION:In debugging a program, the user inputs an SVC number being an object of derail, and a debug control sentence representing the action at derail from an input device such as a keyboard. When an action table generating sentence of a debug 100 is inputted, the action information in the debug control sentence is stored in an action table 5 by the derail kind different from the SVC number. The debug control sentence is inputted also to a derail setting section 2. The setting section 2 searches the SVC instruction taking the SVC number designated by the debug control sentence as an operand to the debug program 7 loaded in a memory to rewrite all the corresponding SVC instructions into a derail instruction (using an undefined instruction).
