PURPOSE:To enable the forecasting of a product with a stable quality, by preparing a closest packed material by compact packing of particulate material under water to determine underwater unit weight by capacity of the particulate material in the closest packed state. CONSTITUTION:In a mixture of powder such as cement, particulate material such as sand and liquid such as water, underwater unit weight by capacity in a closest packed material is determined concerning the particulate material such as sand having a skeletal structure or function. Water requiring fluidity or the like is made clear quantitatively by this measured value and a mixture of concrete and mortar is explained rationally to closely match the actual condition, thereby enabling the forecasting of a product with a stable quality.
