PURPOSE:To generate a report for practice without the influence upon data in the normal register mode, by providing a mode selecting means, which switches selectively the normal register mode and a practice mode to store register information for practice in the practice mode. CONSTITUTION:An ECR10 is provided with a CPU11 which controls the whole of the system, and a keyboard 20, a buzzer 12, a display equipment 13, a printer 14, and a cashdrawer 15 are connected to the CPU11. An ROM16 where an operating program is set and stored preliminarily and other various programs are set and stored and an RAM30 where register information is stored are connected to the CPU11. This keyboard 20 is provided with a mode selecting switch which switches selectively the normal register mode and a mode for practice. When the switch is switched to the mode for practice, register information for practice is stored in an area other than the for normal register data, thus generating a report for practice without the influence upon normal data. |
